Expanding the Site

Some of you may or may not have read the ideas discussed in the Suggestions thread, but either way the admins agree that the site's members should be asked what they would like to see happen.

First of all (this does not involve the poll, this is general information), a new sidebar box will be added soon in which current couples will be listed. Not only do we agree that this is cute idea, but it will also make things easier when voting for members of the moment xD When two charries become a couple, all you have to do is PM an admin with the names and they will be added to the list.

Second involves this poll. It was already decided that the faculty application would be expanded to include student teachers, which is a change that will be coming around soon. What we wanted to ask you guys is whether or not you think another application should be added in which people can join with charries who live in the city but have no affiliation to the school. In other words, city folk ^-^ This could include doctors, public school students, gang members, anything that you may find in a city RPG. Not only would this expand our site and hopefully bring in more members who no longer feel like they have to be tied down to the "Boarding School" aspect of it, but it also allows for more and freer plots.

As the members, you have every right to be a part of this change, so please voice your opinion! Comments may be posted here as well (:

eh personally no, I joined bc i was only wanted to be involved in a boarding school. I can see the benefits, but idk I like how it is. I also perfer smaller sights, having more charries/more people...the site loses its...atmospher. Not that I would leave if u did add city folk or if the site grew larger (im very happily settled in lol) I just liked it how it is

I'm all for keeping thes ite cozy and connected, but I do think expanding to allow non-school people (aka city folks or citizens). It makes it easier to plot with people in Chicago.

I think it's a great idea, because maybe some people see this site and would like to join, but they don't wanna rp an artistic character. Besides, it would expand the possibilities for the characters that are in school as well, when it comes to out-of-school activities.

So ramble an such aside, I can see opening it but not to big, maybe saying in someway the have to be tied to the school. Either a parent/guardian of a student, or friend GF/BF husband/wife of an employee. I'd just hate to see the site have cops (( which wouldn't be bad.. )) but we don't need '' the town drunk '' wreaking havoc in the school or something. O.o Hope that makes a little sense.

I'm all for keeping the site cozy, don't get me wrong. I'm not planning on this site becoming a mad house with over a hundred members or anything >.< But I don't want the site to become inactive either because of its "coziness." I don't know if that makes sense...if it doesn't i'm sorry xD

The overall concensus though is that it would be good to expand the site. So I'm thinking that this weekend Sarah, myself, and the new staff members that will be announced soon will work on that. Thank you all again!!! <33333
