'ello!
I'm Jen as I'm sure most of you realize by now. Also to state the obvious, I've been role-playing nearly four years. It wasn't really my choice when I started, as I only got into it because my little sister begged me to join her Warriors' site, but I'm glad I did. It's helped me grow as a writer immensely.
Anyway, I will let you know I have a novel in progress that will likely be three books total. I'm also a college student. Should I luck out and the wait list isn't too long this semester, I'll be starting a two-year psychiatric technician program at the college I attend. If not, I'll basically be wasting a year taking classes I don't need just to stay on my parents' insurance. =p
I'm a huge The Lord of the Rings fan, but I abhor the movies. While Elijah did a great job with what he was given, Frodo wasn't in character and there were so many other things in the movie that were like, "...."
I've played clarinet for nine years and I still love it, especially since band at the college is challenging. Sadly, this is our director's last year. =\ I've also played violin for a few years, but I'm not very good as I've not been able to find lessons since we moved up here three years ago. Prior to that, I'd had two years of lessons. I also love singing, and while my director has me singing first soprano in choir, I'm more comfortable in an alto or mezzo soprano range.
I will listen to anything from Josh Groban to Disturbed to NSYNC to Taylor Swift to Pink. However, I hate most country other than a few of Swift's songs, and I can't stand rap and R&B. Lately I've been leaning more towards hard rock/metal, though.
I will warn you ahead of time that my activity might get sparse during midterms and finals as such things tend to consume me--especially things surrounding finals. However, as I currently cannot find a job (dumb economy and people wanting experienced employees rather than having to train *sigh*), my activity will probably be pretty high for quite some time.
Any questions, feel free to ask. But now I need to finish the reply I started.

u mean u actualy read the LOTR books!? *high five* everyone I know just goes to see the movies. Personaly I enjoyed both the books and the movies, but u have to watch the extended version of the movies. I felt sam didnt get enough credit, merry/pip where made way too stupid (pippin was also so young during the whole thing, the other hobbits where much older then he was! He was just a kid) and legolas got too much credit!
anyway welcome to the site and I cant wait to read your books when your a published author. If you have great taste in books im ur writing style is brillent, i guess ill see in your post!
