Cole Williams woke up a tad too early for his taste on a Saturday morning, but if she was annoying as hell, she was nice to look at. Her dark had spilled over his pillow like a second case and skimmed his fingers over the silky locks. He didn't know her name, or he couldn't remember it, either way waking her up was a bit of challenge right now. He had two options; shake her awake, which was something he didn't like done to him, or wait until she woke up on her own. Patients never visited him often.
His hand landed on her bare shoulder and gave her quick shove. It wasn't very hard, but it was enough to get her turn towards him. He pushed himself up on his elbow and sighed, throwing the sheets off his waist and climbed out of the bed. He always hated the morning after. It was probably the most tiring of it all. Cole his boxers on and pulled his jeans up as she finally cracked an eye open. A mossy green color shown in her iris and he wasn't disappointed.
"What time is it?" She croaked out and he turned to look at the clock on his nightstand.
"Noon," he replied simply and pulled on a gray t-shirt. "Get dressed," a snort came as her replied and he looked at her as she wrapped the sheet around her body. Modest?
"Kicking me out?" She asked him, putting on her clothes as well.
Cole studied her for second. In all honesty that was his initial reaction, but after watching her for second he changed his mind. "No, taking you out." He corrected and leaned against the wall after he put his socks and shoes on. "We're going to Lindt Chocolates, and then the Navy Pier."
Her gaze was sharp and it pinned him where he stood. "You make it sound like I don't have anything better to do," she told him, putting her own shoes on.
Cole smirk slid on his lips, it's slow and deliberate. "You don't," he simply and held the door open, waiting for her to walk through. A low laugh escaped her lips and he grabbed his camera on the way out the room. ... The box of chocolates rattled as they made their way through the throngs of people on the pier. He wasn't too sure where he was going, but he figured he would be able to point it out once they were there. And, to no shock to him, he did. He found a place that wasn't too crowded but had a perfect view of the water. He steer her near the edge and handed her candy while he started messing with the settings on his camera. Her soft voice was a low murmur to him as he was concentrating, but he wasn't surprised when she started eating the candy.
He placed the eyepiece up to his eye and stared through it at her. She had her side facing him, a piece of candy in font of lips, and the glimmer from the lake shinning in her face. It was absolutely perfect to him so he started snapping pictures. It took her a minute to realize what he was doing and she faced him.
"So I really am your muse?" She asked leaning her elbows on the metal bars. Cole paused momentarily and shrugged.
"I don't remember saying that," he said and put the camera back up to his eye. "But whatever gets your skirt up." He got one last picture in before she chucked the expensive box of chocolates in the water.
"Jerk," she said and walked past him. If his expression was anything to go by he pretty pleased with himself. He took a seat on a bench and started snapping random pictures for his class. He doubted the ones he had of the girl would get good grades, but it would be nice to add to his collection. Tag: anyone Word Count: 657 Notes: um.. this is what happens when i'm bored ;p

bree had done nothing all day, and she never seemed to have homework or things to study for anymore. she sighed and walked to her closet. she sighed, she had some dinner with her father coming up and needed a pretty dress. he was setting her up with some guy's son he worked with. he just had to be so father like. it pissed her off sometimes. she went through her dresses sighing at eachone. she didn't like any of them. she sighed and thought shopping time. she wasn't even dressed so that would take more time. she walked to her dresser grabbing her jeans and then grabbed a blue top. she pulled her shorts off and then her pants on, and slipped her shirt off. she pulled on her other shirt, and sighed.
she never seemed so annoyed to go shopping. but she didn't want to go to this date set up thing. her dad was so pathetic at times. she walked out of her room and into the bathroom. she grabbed her makeup bag and put her coverup on and then her mascra on. she sighed and then put on her lipgloss. she walked out of the bathroom and grabbed her purse. she sighed and grabbed her zip up and put it on her arm. she walked out of the dorm and slammed the door shut.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
she parked the car in a spot and grabbed her purse and opened the door. she stepped out of her car, and shut the door. soon she got to the pier. her dad ordered her to get chocolate for her mother. something to make her happy, i guess. she walked into the chocolate place sighing and looking around a bit. she grabbed a medium sized box and then paid for it. she walked out of the store and saw the little lake. it was something she loved, and she did have her camera. she walked to a bench, sat down and placed her purse and bag on the bench beside her.
she grabbed her camera out and put it to her eye, and looked at the lake. she saw a swan and toke a picture of it. she toke it away from her eye alittle looked to the left to see a boy sitting there. ohh and he was hott. she put her camera back to her eye, and snapped a picture of him. he was very intense, but relaxed looking. he looked simple, and pleased. she turned away and then sat back, looking around for something to take a picture of. anything to distract her from getting a dress for that date would be perfect.

Cole caught a butterfly in mid-land. It was barely touching the grass blade when he snapped the picture. He probably could have just stopped there, but this was something he loved to do. He tweaked his zoom a little and turned the camera at an angle before he took a few more. The butterflies wings spread out and snapped another, and again when it took off into the air again. Cole leaned back on the bench he was on and started flipping through the pictures he had gotten. A few of the girl was in there, they were nice, but nothing special. The people walking around the pier was okay, but again, it didn't impress him.
Something like a sixth sense kicked in while he was flipping through the butterfly pictures. He turned his head to the left and caught a girl staring at him. He was to just shrug it off as just another air head, but the red tint to her hair grabbed his attention. He could tell that she was a brunette, and it looked the sun had brought out a gleam of red. Cole started taking pictures of her taking pictures. He wasn't sure if she was tourist, having been almost positive he had seen her before, but he couldn't place her.
Cole put his camera in his bag and slung the strap over his shoulder. His thoughts were the same as they always were when he was about to approach a girl. The only difference this time was that he was sure he had seen this one somewhere. He stood behind her and watched as she took pictures of the lake with his hands in his pockets.
"Generic, don't you think?" He said easily as he looked at the suns reflection on the water. He never understood why people took pictures of what hundreds of other people took daily. There were always ways around getting what you. Like then, he noticed as he glanced beside them. A mom and her daughter were looking at the water. The little girl was standing on the second bar and her mom was holding her by the waist. "Take that one," he said to her. "It'll be interesting, and if you tweak it a little it should make a good story."
Why was he telling her this? He didn't know. What he did know was this was like breathing to him. He did it a lot and was good at it. Something he was passionate about hardly ever just turned on and off for him. Even if he didn't know who she was, she held something that he liked. As far as that went, that was all that matter to him. Not that he didn't think she pretty, but it was just too easy to distract him with a camera. Tag: Brig Word Count: 471 Notes: ...

she snapped another one, just glancing around. this was what she did when she was bored, other than draw. she had talents, but she wasn't that good at this whole picture taking thing. she did it for a hobby, mostly. just something she liked to do in spare time. her passion? dancing. that's when you see her truly be bree. she pulled her camera away from her eye and breathed. she never seemed happy with what she toke these days. she liked where she lived before here, much better.
she heard a voice, a boy. she looked at him, and smiled. it was that boy she toke a picture of. she smiled and said" yeah, i guess". then he said something. she looked at the little girl, studied her, and then snapped a picture. she toke it away from her eye, and looked at the picture. he was right. the whole set up was amazing. she lifted her camera to her eye and looked into it around the crowd. she came across a dog and a girl playing across the lake. she zoomed in and snapped it. she toke the camera away from her eye to look at her picture.
she looked back to him and said " thanks". she smiled, and looked to the lake again. she looked back to him, and said " i'm bree, whats your name?". she looked to him and then placed her camera back in her purse. she toke her schedule out to see when she had dance practice. she had time to chat and get her dress in time. even though she really didn't want to go to this date, she would to make her dad happy.

Cole smiled down at her instead of saying your welcome. Bree was a nice name, and it did ring a bell, but the girl he was remembering was one of his old friends. "Cole," he introduced and moved around the bench and sat down. "Do you go to the Chicago school of Performing and Visual Arts?" He asked as he laid his bag down beside him.
Bree had a nice face, he differently hadn't seen many girls with a face shape like hers. It was odd, but in a good way. Everything odd to him looked good on camera, but he was too lazy to pull it out right then. "I'm a senior there, but I don't think I've seen you." He said leaning back and letting the sun hit face fully. It was bright, but he didn't squint. He always hated it when people did that, it didn't block out the sun, so why do it?
"You like Photography?" He asked casually and faced her. "I can see you dancing, for some reason." He said looking over her body. She wasn't very tall, but none of that mattered for dancers. Or so he thought. He didn't really look up that stuff. Dance didn't really interest him.

Bree looked at him and nodded. Cole. She liked it, nice name of course. she smiled, and sighed. bree wasn't her real name, but she didn't really exactly put her real name out there that much. she even went to the office before to tell them to ask the teachers to call her by bree and that was it. If any teacher called her breezy, she'd flip. she hated it. it wasnt that she was ashamed, but still. BREEZY. come on now. its just alittle wierd and out of the blue.
she smiled at him and said" Yeah, I'm a junior there." she looked to the lake then back at him. for some reason, he was handsome. he wasn't much of her type, but he was decent looking to her. she looked back to the lake, studied around it, seeing the ducks and swans swimming gracefuly around looking for food. she smiled and looked back to him again.
" Yeah, I do. I'm not that good at it, but It's something my and my father used to do for a hobby." she smiled lightly and turned to look at the lake again. she loved this lake alot. She looked back to him and said" I'm a dancer, and singer. Photography is just a hobby, I also draw here and there. I'm not that good at it, since I just picked it up. " She smiled to him lightly, and turned her eyes to the lake again. Something was distracting her always. she always tried to catch everything, more than she could see with just two eyes.
