sitting on the couch in the common room, arizona cassaway tossed a tennis ball at the wall and let it bounce back to her. this wouldn't look quite as bizzarre if she'd been sitting normally, but, as it was, her feet were where her head should have been and her head where her feet belonged. her blonde hair pooled out on the carpeted floor and her green eyes watched the tennis ball as it flew back towards her. needless to say, she was bored. alex was nowhere to be found, and due to the time difference, it wasn't like she could call tuna or sky, or even jace for that matter. and, for a wednesday night, there was nothing on tv. she'd already tried to watch one of those cooking shows, y'know, the ones where it's like, a battle royale of cakes, or something like that. and `zona just wasn't interested in watching a bunch of adults battle it out over cakes!
sighing, she tossed the tennis ball again and then reached into her pocket and pulled out her ipod, putting the headphones on the floor beside her head, she turned it on, listening as paramore began to blare out of the little white headphones. singing along under her breath, she watched as the tennis ball came flying back towards her face, only to be caught right before it reached her, and then she tossed it again. saddly, she'd been in here for almost two hours, she'd only flipped upside down though in the past ten minutes. she'd felt almost claustrophobic in her dorm, the walls just closing in on her, and then the courtyard had been buried under snowball fights, so, she'd retreated in here, intending to read, but, then the words on her book had begun to all swirl together, so she'd gone and collected a tennis ball and was now in her current predicament.
pulling out her phone, she tried to call alex again, just to see if he wanted to do anything, despite the odd hour, but, he didn't pick up, so, she went back to her tennis ball throwing. tapping her feet to the rhythm of the song, she pondered what all there was to do at eight thirty on a wednesday night in december in chicago. in truth, she couldn't think of anything, but, then again, she wasn't exactly from around here. setting her phone next to her ipod, she looked at the tennis ball, it had fallen just short of her reach and was glaring back at her, it's florescent yellow fuzziness just sitting there, waiting to be tossed at the wall again. just waiting. my lord, arizona was bored.

(OOC || Sorry horrible post but I'm sleepy! ~Tuna)
Jamie glared angrily at the bright yellow sticky note in her hands. How many was that today? Like seven? All from the same woman that couldn't just help her get her head on straight at a new school! Stuffing the note in her back pocket she walked outside, fallowing the path she'd already attempted to plot beforehand. Which probably wouldn't work anyway.
Taking a deep breath, Jamie opened the door that led from the school to the outside. A shiver passed over her as the winter air met her lungs. Gaw it's sooo much colder here than it was at home. She quickly hurried around the corner and kept walking trying to find the Jefferson Hall dorms.
As she rounded a corner and hurried down the sidewalk, nearly running into a girl as she almost slid on a small patch of ice. Wrapping her blue-black stripped scarf around her face she glanced around and kept going. So far it had only been snowing the past few days she had been here in Chicago. Also, so far it had almost turned out as a death trap for the already accident prone teenager.
Though, so far today had been okay, after being sent on an excursion to the theatre she ran into a childhood friend that had turned out quiet sweet and good looking over the years. And past that the teachers where so far okay, nothing to drastic had happened. Jamie lifted the map from her pocket and smiled, from what it said, she had only about a little more to go till she got to her dorm.
Taking off at a run, Jamie slid around the final corner and smiled as the door came in sight. Slowing down though, turned out to be a troublesome issue. Skidding to a halt she felt herself slid right into the door as a clang that reminded her of a gong rang out as she collided with it before regaining her balance. Gulping she opened the door and stepped inside, instantly dropping her black bag and glancing around.
Her eyes landed on a figure on the couch. Uh...I'm seeing ghosts. She mumbled under her breath instantly recognizing the figure of her best friend. Though, it couldn't be her. Last time she'd seen her was at Proclivity and now she had no idea where or what happened to her friend past her leaving their old school. Now she seemed to be sitting upside down, and only feet from Jamie.
`Zona?...ZONA! Jamie said happily and took a step closer to her friend. Wow small world ain't it? Is Sky gonna pop up here too? She said before smiling, already falling into her normal self outside of the freezing weather.

arizona was pretty much at the stage of declaring war on gravity and the stupid tennis ball. why did newton have to declare that an object at rest would stay that way until it was acted upon? why couldn't people just will an object to move towards them? seriously, that'd make her life so much easier, but, it would probably make this lazy country even worse. pondering her dilema, she switched the song on her ipod, this time it landed on a nickelback song, making her smile. biting her lip, she continued her glare off with the inanimate object resting about two feet in front of her nose and refused to give up. . . maybe she was going crazy. . . wait. . . going? she was long gone if she was at this stage.
glancing out the window by the door at the snow covered lawn and then the parking lot beyond, she contemplated just going out and sitting in her truck, at this point, anything would be more entertaining. returning her green eyes to the tennis ball, she shifted her lips, pondering her options. but when she heard a thud as someone or something hit the door to the dorm, and then she heard it for real, turning her green glare onto the figure as whoever it was opened the door and blasted her with freezing air, Uh...I'm seeing ghosts.
[/b][/i] she heard the voice, but didn't recognise it as anyone who lived in the dorms, but `zona rolled off the couch and onto her feet, harsh words already rolling off her tongue. close the damn door b-[/b] she stopped dead in her tracks, looking at the figure. `Zona?...ZONA![/b][/i] even the psychic didn't see this one coming, her green eyes were wide as dinner plates as she stared openly at the blonde standing in the doorway. Wow small world ain't it? Is Sky gonna pop up here too?[/b][/i] now she was dead sure. running towards her small friend, she tackled her best friend, laughing all the way. tuna! grabbing her friend in a hug, she squeaked. oh mon dieu! what are you doing here?! how'd you get here? why haven't you guys been answering my calls? what have i missed? oh my god!!![/b] she was practically jumping up and down and finally ran out of breath so she had to fall silent, but the grin on her face was still there.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Close the damn door b- Jamie heard the girl say as she rolled off the couch and ended up on her feet. Yep that's `Zona alright Jamie thought just as she watched her friend stop dead in her tracks. The short Junior barely kept from laughing and tackling her friend as she watched `Zona's eyes go as wide as plates.
One second her friend was standing frozen and the next she was running towards her. Jamie laughed happily as her friend almost tackled her off her feet. Tuna! She felt her friend give her a huge hug, and Jamie hugged back happily, wondering how in the world they where hugging, laughing, and jumping around without falling. Oh mon dieu! What are you doing here?! How'd you get here? Why haven't you guys been answering my calls? What have I missed? Oh my God!!
Jamie laughed happily and hugged her friend tightly before pulling back a bit and leaving her hands on her shoulders. Hm, where to start. She smiled boardly and jumped a bit before taking a deep breath. Wow, its so nice to know someone else here! Anyway, Proclivity closed down at the end of last year. Mainly I went home, got stuck with Dad. He took away my phone and just recently I got a new one, and found a school. She sighed and raised her cast covered arm and shrugged. Got stuck in the hospital and then decided to come on to here. What about you? It was like one day you dissapeared and suddenly I run into you!
Jamie smiled and hugged her friend again. Wow, I'm sooo happy to see ya `Zona! Though, I haven't heard from Sky since I lost my phone. So how's life been? How'd you get here though? She glanced around happily and sighed a bit. Oh, could you maybe help me find my room sometime today too? And remember that kid I told you about? From when I was little? I ran into him here too! She said and couldn't help but laugh because she was still practically jumping up and down.
