Apparently he has no sense of humor. But, after a few weeks, and by that I mean half a year, we reconciled and became friends. Sort of. He still doesn't give in to my sarcastic nature, but he's a gentleman in many ways and he watches over me very carefully. The latter part is quite confusing but very sweet of him. She is one of my most difficult students. She has a comment for just about everything, appropriate or not she doesn't take a second thought about interrupting me. I allow her to do so, knowing it would probably be worse to ignore her, but it doesn't stop me from retaliation. I don't give a damn about looking "professional" in front of a class. I'm not the type of teacher to take crap from students, and they all know it. Rebecca just likes to push my buttons, I agree that it's healthy and sometimes hope more students would do so.
